TradeStrong provides a 1-year warranty on all labor and workmanship performed during service, repair, or installation.

This means if a problem occurs due to an error in our installation, repair, or service within 12 months of the completion date, we will return to correct the issue at no additional labor cost to you.


2. Parts and Equipment Warranty

  • Replacement parts installed by TradeStrong are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically ranging from 1 to 10 years depending on the part or system.
  • HVAC systems, water heaters, and other major appliances installed by TradeStrong are protected by manufacturer warranties.
  • TradeStrong is not responsible for warranty denial due to customer neglect, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modifications after installation.

Important:
Manufacturer warranty terms (including parts coverage length) vary. Customers are responsible for registering eligible equipment with the manufacturer if required.


3. Special Warranties

Some new HVAC system installations performed by TradeStrong may include additional warranty extensions if:

  • Proper maintenance is performed and documented (such as enrolling in our Peace of Mind Plan).
  • System registration is completed within manufacturer timelines.

Ask your technician at the time of installation for details specific to your project.


4. Exclusions

The following are not covered under TradeStrong’s 1-year labor warranty or any manufacturer warranty:

  • Failures caused by abuse, neglect, lack of regular maintenance, or misuse.
  • Damage from weather events, natural disasters, or acts of God (e.g., floods, storms, fire, lightning).
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., clogged drains, dirty filters, corrosion).
  • Aesthetic differences (e.g., paint mismatches, minor surface scratches) related to new part installations.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, alterations, or third-party service providers.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

  • Perform routine maintenance (such as filter changes, drain line cleanings, and system inspections).
  • Notify TradeStrong promptly if a service issue arises.
  • Provide reasonable access for repair appointments.
  • Retain proof of installation or service records.

Failure to properly maintain installed equipment or systems may void warranties.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Service Call Fees

All service calls, including diagnostic visits and maintenance visits, carry a non-refundable $44 trip charge. This fee covers the cost of dispatching and assessing your system.

2. Cancellations

Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty. Short-notice cancellations may still incur the $44 trip charge if the technician was dispatched.

3. Refunds

  • Refunds are only issued if a prepayment was made and TradeStrong is unable to deliver the agreed-upon service.
  • Deposits or prepayments for special-order equipment or major installations are non-refundable once the order has been placed.

4. Service Guarantee

If you are unsatisfied with a service, please contact us immediately. We are committed to working with you to resolve any reasonable concerns related to workmanship under warranty coverage.

Peace of Mind Plan Terms

The TradeStrong Peace of Mind Plan is a residential HVAC maintenance plan designed to help homeowners protect their systems.

1. Plan Benefits

  • Two seasonal HVAC maintenance visits per year (spring/summer and fall/winter).
  • 1-inch standard filter replacement at each visit (if accessible and applicable).
  • Priority scheduling for service calls during peak seasons.

2. Pricing

  • $12 per month (billed annually at $124) or monthly with approved auto-pay.
  • Maintenance visits are scheduled proactively but may be rescheduled due to weather or emergencies.

3. Terms

  • The plan is non-refundable once a maintenance visit has been completed.
  • The plan covers preventive maintenance only and does not include repairs or parts unless separately quoted.
  • Customers must maintain active payments to receive plan benefits.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Replace specialty filters outside of maintenance visits if required (only 1-inch standard filters are included).

Keep the system accessible for scheduled visits.
